Warble

Warble is a website that synthesizes data from three APIs to create immersive bird soundscapes that encourage real-world exploration. It is designed for non-birders to learn more about different bird species across the United States in an approachable and engaging way.

In the process of creating this passion project, I designed a prototype in Figma and translated it into a functional website using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Xeno-Canto API, Nuthatch API, and Wikimedia Commons are integrated to provide dynamic audio recordings and images of each bird species. Check out Warble at https://www.warblesoundscapes.com.
